Questions

All questions

Are files uploaded?

No. Merge, split, convert, and redact run in the browser on your device. The server sends the page, scripts, and styles. It does not receive the PDF.

Why does the layout not match the original exactly?

The browser does not include the desktop layout engines for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ready2PDF keeps reading order, tables, and images. Complex boxes, animation, and tight spacing are simplified.

Why does text recognition need a network?

Ordinary conversion stays offline. OCR downloads language data. A selectable Chinese text layer also downloads a font. Password protection needs HTTPS because browsers expose the crypto API only on a secure address.

Is the file still there after I close the page?

No. It exists only in the memory of this open page. After you download it, you keep the copy. Ready2PDF has no account and no cloud copy.
